Why Low Fat Foods DON’T WORK.

Simple logic should tell you that cutting fat out of your diet will not work – because as a nation we’ve decreased fat consumption by as much as 30%, yet we’re still getting fatter and fatter.  Today scientists know that there are important compounds in fat that actually help you to burn fat.  The problem is that if your body has been trained to not burn fat, you’ll never burn it – regardless of what you eat!  And all your life, your diet has trained your body to burn sugar rather than fat.  So just cutting fat out of your diet is not going to work!

Low Calorie Diets DON’T WORK.

You won’t lose weight using a Low Calorie Dieting Plan either.   In fact, eating low calories is the worst thing that you can do to your body, since that will only slow down your body’s fat burning engine and ruin all chances of losing weight (low calorie diets may allow a few pounds of weight loss for the first few days, but then after that all weight loss comes to a halt —known as a dieting plateau).

You can never get slim by starving yourself.

Low Carb Dieting has become popular in recent years.  I will admit that you will lose weight by cutting out carbs, but the truth is eventually you’ll give in and start eating them again.  These types of diet are simply too strict and TOO HARD TO FOLLOW for most people.   More importantly, a low carb diet tends to rob your body from much needed energy (carbohydrates) making it nearly impossible to remain on the program for very long.  This is why so many dieters find it difficult to follow a strict low carbohydrate diet.

What about Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig Dieting Plans?

Weight loss programs such as Weight Watchers (and Jenny Craig) usually involve the consumption of “special meals” or food products that are quite honestly dangerous and full of harmful chemicals that have been shown to alter brain chemistry making you more dependent on the programs.  While some people may like these types of dietary programs, we prefer a dieting plan which focuses on faster weight loss, and is much healthier for your body because it actually heals and improves your metabolism…
